I can only imagine that shopping in the Conran bath store is akin to if someone genuinely provided a pop up service in a shishi bathroom. You feel as though you are walking into a provincial French day spa or a luxurious bathroom in some Count’s olive farm down on the south coast (probably influenced by the presence the beautifully French Côté Bastide and Compagnie de Provence). L:A Bruket gives a Scandinavian feel along with the wooden shelving- surely I am about to walk into a delicious dry sauna?

An then there is the towels- a sold wall of soft and tassled linens inviting you to stroke as they hang so perfectly from their wooden rails.

There is something deeply relaxing about shopping for bath products in this environment, a feat of merchandising- something that makes it so incredibly easy for products to jump into your hands. Along with a delicate bath robe and a few linen towels… oh and why not a sea sponge for good measure. TS
